AFGROW European Training and Workshop 2016 proceedings and notes

This was the second AFGROW European Workshop with 18 attendees representing Industry and Academia. We would like to express our gratitude to Prof. Michel Guillaume for hosting the Workshop. The agenda for the Workshop is shown below:

The Workshop provided an excellent opportunity for feedback from our European customers. The following topics and areas of interest were discussed.

• Stress intensity solution for a through-the-thickness crack at a hole under biaxial loading
• Stiffened panel solution
• Option to output in terms of hours
• Option to display maximum and minimum spectrum stress vs. cycles in 3-D (or 2-D with min/max bins showing the number of cycles)
• ASTM standard cycle counting routine
• Ability to convert existing spectra to the new AFGROW XML spectrum format

We will be considering these areas of interest for incorporation in future AFGROW releases. We will also provide feedback on our progress in each of these areas.
